The board of directors at Creative Commons has a long history of experience in the field of copyright and intellectual property. The president of the board, Peer2Peer University, has extensive experience in copyright law and is also a well-known lawyer in the field of intellectual property. The board also includes the National Copyright Director from the National Copyright Unit of the NSW Department of Education and Training, who has years of experience in copyright law and policy. Finally, the board includes an Associate- Intellectual Property, Entertainment and Media Law from Michelle Sillar Attorneys, who has a wealth of experience in intellectual property law.
