Sachith Soorage

Sachith Soorage has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Sachith started their career as a Software Engineer at Inova IT Systems (Pvt.) Ltd. in 2012 and worked in that role until 2015. Sachith then progressed to the role of Lead System Engineer at the same company, a position they held from 2015 to 2021. In 2021, Sachith joined 99x as a DevOps Tech Lead, where they worked until 2022. Sachith then moved on to Pearson as an Associate Technical Specialist in Site Reliability Engineering, a role they held until 2023. Presently, Sachith is working as a Cloud Platform Engineer at Creative Fabrica, starting in 2023.

Sachith Soorage completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Information Technology from SLIIT, starting in 2009 and finishing in 2012. During the same period, they also attended the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Sachith Soorage obtained certifications in various fields. In August 2018, they achieved the AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification from PSI (Proteam Solutions Inc). Furthermore, in August 2021, they obtained the Verified International Academic Qualifications certification from the World Education Services.
