Cherie Wong's work experience begins in 2019 as a Summer Research Intern at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Cherie then pursued a Summer Research opportunity at Durham University in 2020. In 2021, Cherie worked as a Project Consultant at Baringa Partners for a short period of time. From 2021 to 2022, they served as a Project Supervisor at Engineers Without Borders - Oxford (EWBOx). Cherie's time at CapitOx Consulting Group as a Project Leader lasted from May 2022 to July 2022. In July 2022, they joined Oxford University Innovation as a member of the Startup Incubator (StEP Ignite) team, where they collaborated on developing a business case and delivered a pitch to venture capital investors. Cherie also held the position of Talks Lead at Oxford Entrepreneurs starting in August 2022. Cherie is currently a VC Investment Analyst at Creator Fund, responsible for evaluating startups, conducting due diligence, and assisting with investment decisions. Throughout this period, Cherie has been pursuing a DPhil in Engineering Science at the University of Oxford.

Cherie Wong has a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Durham University. Cherie also holds a Master of Science degree in Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Oxford, earned through a research-based program. Additionally, Cherie has pursued further studies at the University of Oxford, where they are currently working towards a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Engineering Science.
