Agnimitra Kar Frm

Agnimitra Kar, FRM has a diverse work experience in finance and risk management. Starting in 2007, they worked as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, where they were involved in application development and gained skills in COBOL, JCL, Java, MS-Visio, and SQL. In 2009, they completed a summer internship at ONGC. From 2010 to 2012, Agnimitra worked as a Manager in the SME department of Bank of India, responsible for acquiring new business and credit monitoring. In 2012, they joined Bank of America as an Analyst in Corporate Credit Risk. Later that year, they moved to ICICI Bank, where they held positions as Senior Manager and Team Lead in the SME Policy & Risk Group until 2017. During this time, they gained experience in risk management and policy development. In 2017, they joined CARE Ratings Ltd. as a Manager in Corporate Ratings, where they formed credit opinions for clients in the Power and Road sectors. Agnimitra then joined IDFC FIRST Bank in 2019 as an AVP in Risk for Commercial Banking. Currently, Agnimitra works at CARE Ratings Ltd. as the Group Head.

Agnimitra Kar, FRM, has a diverse education history in the fields of finance, marketing, and engineering. Starting in 2003, they attended Jadavpur University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Agnimitra completed their undergraduate studies in 2007.

In 2008, Agnimitra enrolled at IIM Kozhikode, where they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) with a focus on Finance and Marketing. Agnimitra completed their studies at IIM Kozhikode in 2010.

In the subsequent years, Agnimitra pursued further professional certifications. In 2011, they passed Level I of the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) examination administered by the Global Association of Risk Professionals (GARP). Agnimitra continued their studies and passed Level II of the FRM examination in 2014. Additionally, Agnimitra also passed Level II of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) examination administered by the CFA Institute, USA in 2012.
