Deepak Prajapati

Deepak Prajapati has extensive work experience in the ratings industry and project appraisal management. Deepak started their career as a Project Appraisal Manager at Gujarat Industrial Investment Corporation Limited in 1997. Deepak then held various roles at the same company, including being on deputation to Gujarat Tourism and the Technical Secretariat for Restructuring of PSUs, GoG.

In 2005, Deepak joined CARE Ratings Ltd., where they started as a Credit Analyst, completing 25-30 assignments annually and building long-term partnerships with clients. Deepak then became a Credit Rating Group Head, leading a team and handling close to 140 assignments annually across various sectors. During this role, they ensured rating stability and recruited and groomed new analysts for career growth.

Deepak's expertise led him to become a Credit Rating Head, where they managed rating assignments for three states, multiple group heads, and analysts. Deepak also acted as a sector specialist for the textile industry. Later, they became the Director and Regional Head for Karnataka, successfully growing branch revenue within one year through client acquisition and relationship improvement.

Deepak'smost recent role at CARE Ratings Ltd. was as the Senior Director and Regional Head for Gujarat, where they managed regional office operations, built strong client relationships, and achieved revenue targets by mobilizing resources. Deepak'sexpertise in the industry contributed to the sustainable growth of branch revenue.

Deepak Prajapati pursued their education at the L.D. College of Engineering from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communications. Deepak furthered their studies at the B K School of Business Management between 1995 and 1997, earning a Master of Business Administration degree with a specialization in Finance.
