Gerald Gordon

Gerald Gordon has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Gerald began their career at Xerox in 1998 as a Lead Mechanical Engineer, responsible for building floor layouts and designing prototype build tools. In 2005, they transitioned to the role of Sr. Solutions Engineer, where they interpreted technical documentation and tested software patches. Gerald then joined Premier, Inc in 2010, first as a Lead Software Release Engineer, automating processes in the software delivery process, and later as a Sr. Software Engineer, contributing to the development of a supply chain web application. In 2017, they moved to Red Ventures as a Senior Software Engineer and eventually became a Software Engineering Manager. Currently, Gerald is employed at Credit Karma as a Senior Software Engineering Manager and will assume the role of Director of Engineering in 2023.

Gerald Gordon completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology - Java Development/Project Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor's of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Florida International University between 1997 and 1999. Gerald also has an Associate's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Farmingdale State College, which they earned from 1995 to 1997.

In addition to their formal education, Gerald has obtained several certifications. These certifications include the TLC Leaders Program Certificate of Completion from The Leadership Consortium (TLC) in March 2021, the "On Leadership" certificate by Jeff Weiner obtained through LinkedIn in October 2020, the "Leading with Intelligent Disobedience" certificate from LinkedIn in September 2020, the "Scala and Spark for Big Data and Machine Learning" certificate from Udemy in May 2020, the "Advanced Scala and Functional Programming" certificate from Udemy in April 2020, and the "Machine Learning" certificate from Stanford Online obtained through Coursera in November 2019.
