Marideth Post

Marideth Post has a vast and extensive work experience in the field of communications and marketing. Marideth is currently the Vice President of Communications at Credit Karma since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Thumbtack as a Communications professional from 2016 to 2019.

Marideth also has experience in the retail industry, specifically at Peek Kids where they served as the Corporate Director of Marketing Communications from 2014 to 2016. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing the overall communications strategy, including media relations, events, partnerships, and messaging.

Before their time at Peek Kids, Marideth worked at Zynga as the Senior Director of Consumer Communications from 2011 to 2014. In this position, they established the first internal consumer media relations practice at the leading social gaming company.

Marideth's career began in the hospitality industry, where they held various communications and public relations roles. Marideth worked at The Republic of Tea as the Corporate Director of Communications from 2004 to 2011, and at W Hotels as a Communications and Public Relations consultant from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Public Relations at Noble House Hotels & Resorts from 2000 to 2001, and as the Corporate Director of Media Relations at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants from 1993 to 2000.

Throughout their career, Marideth has demonstrated strong skills in strategic media relations, story placement, and building comprehensive communications strategies. Marideth has also managed teams, directed external agencies, and has been results-driven in their approach to public relations.

Marideth Post obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from California State University, Chico, completing the program between the years 1986 and 1991.
