Omar Qureshi

Omar Qureshi has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Omar currently holds the position of VP, Data Ops at Credit One Bank since December 2022. Prior to this, they founded Quantoptions LLC in September 2020.

Before their entrepreneurial venture, Omar Qureshi worked at Molina Healthcare as the Head of Data Management - Assoc. VP from April 2018 to August 2020. In this role, they executed the Data Strategy and established an Enterprise Data Environment, data governance framework, and stewardship model.

From October 2013 to March 2018, Omar Qureshi served as the Director - Head of Data & Analytics at Citibanamex, where they provided strategic and technical leadership for data and analytics capabilities, architecture, business intelligence platform, and customer MDM system.

Earlier in their career, Omar Qureshi held various positions at Citi. Omar was the Director of BI and Data Conversions in the Global consumer bank from March 2012 to September 2013. Omar also worked as the SVP of Information Management Systems in Latin America from March 2005 to February 2012, leading the development and implementation of regional information systems. Prior to this, they served as the Data warehouse Head for the Latam Consumer Bank from October 2002 to March 2005.

Omar Qureshi started their career at Citi Singapore in November 1996, where they held multiple roles in the Credit & MIS group. Omar worked as a Credit MIS Analyst, Project Manager, and Solution Lead, responsible for implementing Data Warehouse solutions in various consumer franchises across Asia, Middle East, and Eastern Europe.

With their rich work experience, Omar Qureshi has demonstrated expertise in data management, analytics, banking, and project management.

Omar Qureshi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences from 1987 to 1990. Omar then pursued an MBA in Finance at the Institute of Business Administration from 1990 to 1993. Lastly, they obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy & Administration from Florida Atlantic University from 2009 to 2013.
