Samuel Berner

Samuel Berner is a seasoned human resources executive with extensive experience in leading global teams and providing strategic HR guidance. Currently serving as the Head of People for Corporate Functions at Credit Suisse, Samuel holds the title of Managing Director and is a member of the People Management Committee. Prior to this role, Samuel was the Head of HR for the Group COO at Credit Suisse, and from June 2015 to August 2019, Samuel acted as the Group Head of Human Resources at Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd, overseeing HR for 2,200 employees across 17 countries. Samuel's earlier experience at Credit Suisse includes various leadership roles in human resources from 2001 to 2015, and previous consultancy work at Deloitte Consulting. Samuel holds advanced degrees in Human Resources and Business from the University of Michigan, SDA Bocconi, and the University of St. Gallen.
