Kyle Menken

Kyle Menken has extensive experience in communications, education, and evaluation, currently serving as a Coordinator at Credit Valley Conservation since September 2017. Previous roles include Technician and Marketing and Communications Assistant at the same organization, where responsibilities included writing news releases and updating media contacts. At the Sustainable Technologies Evaluation Program, Kyle has contributed as a Technician since November 2017. Prior experience includes a case study writer at Ryerson University, where short stories were crafted to teach business ethics, and as an interviewer for Higher Education Strategy Associates, focusing on student transition to post-secondary education. Additionally, Kyle has an extensive teaching background at the University of Toronto, where courses on environmental ethics and critical thinking were delivered to large classes. Kyle holds a Post-Grad Certificate in Public Relations from Humber College and multiple degrees in Philosophy from the University of Waterloo and the University of Toronto.

Credit Valley Conservation

Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) is a local conservation authority established by the Ontario government in 1954 to protect, restore and enhance the natural environment of the Credit River watershed. That watershed is the area of land where all rainfall, snowmelt and runoff drain into lands and waters flowing into the Credit River. CVC creates connections between people and nature, knowledge and action. It inspires a deep appreciation for the role of nature in keeping people connected, healthy and happy. CVC is a member of Conservation Ontario.
