Jason Smola

Jason Smola has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Jason started their career in 2006 as a Computer Trainer & Support at Quick Fix PC, where they provided training and support services to companies and individuals. In 2008, they joined Millikan Computer Technology as a System Consultant.

In 2010, Jason joined Sony as a System Technician, where they were responsible for creating cost-effective solutions for customers' needs, providing customer support for diagnostic issues, and selling applications, services, and computers.

From 2012 to 2016, they worked as a System Engineer at McGriff, Seibels & Williams. In this role, they focused on systems engineering tasks.

In 2015, Jason joined BB&T as a Sr. Dir, Network Engineering & Acquisitions. Jason was involved in implementing, maintaining, and building new client/server side functionality, as well as VMware management and SCCM administration. Jason also supported company integration for acquisitions and mergers.

From 2016 onwards, Jason Smola joined Mercury® Financial. Jason held multiple roles, including Lead Network Engineer / DevOPS Engineer, Senior Network Engineer, Technology Manager, Director of Information Technology, and currently serves as the VP - Enterprise Security & Infrastructure Architect.

Jason also has extensive experience with AWS engineering, including routing, EC2 instances, DNS, S3, CloudFront, and CloudFormation.
