John Elasic

John Elasic is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in acquisitions, corporate development, and fraud management in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Acquisition Channel Director at Mercury® Financial since June 2022, John previously held the role of VP, M&A at Barclays from November 2015, leading cross-functional teams in acquisition evaluations and developing financial models. Prior experience includes positions at Capital One, where John managed third-party fraud programs and digital authentication initiatives, and at Citi, where John oversaw teams focused on fraud mitigation for corporate accounts globally. John holds an MBA in Management Information Systems from Wilmington University and a B.B.A. in International Business from Loyola University Maryland.
