Steve Carp

Steve is Executive Vice President of Strategy and Development for Mercury® Financial. With over 30 years of experience in financial services, Steve leads corporate strategy and development to support efforts to best meet the needs of the customers, employees, and stakeholders.

Prior to leading corporate strategy, Steve served as CFO for Mercury® Financial for five years with responsibility for the overall financial management of the company, including accounting, balance sheet management, financial planning and analysis, corporate treasury, and tax. Before joining Mercury, Steve was Chief Operating Officer for Barclays US. Throughout his 17-year tenure at Barclays he held various roles including leading the strategy, finance, treasury and retail deposit areas. He was also instrumental in helping build Juniper Financial. His resume includes MBNA, Sears and Ernst and Young.

Steve earned his B.S. in Accounting from The University of Delaware, and an M.B.A. from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
