Bindi Saikia has a diverse work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Bindi started off as an Intern at Indian Oil Corporation Limited in 2007. Bindi then worked as a Senior Account Executive at Gutenberg Communications from 2008 to 2011. Following that, Bindi joined Bite, a global communications agency, where they worked as a Consultant from 2011 to 2012 and later as a Senior Consultant from 2012 to 2013.

In 2014, Bindi worked as a Project Intern at Astonish Media Group, LLC. Bindi then pursued a teaching internship at Rutgers University School of Communication and Information in 2016.

In the same year, Bindi worked as a Public Relations Intern at Berk Communications where they gained valuable experience in social media management, research, drafting content, and media relations.

Later, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology at Venkateswara College, Delhi University, from 2003 to 2006. Saikia went on to obtain a Master's Degree in Sociology from Delhi School of Economics, which they completed from 2006 to 2008. Bindi pursued further studies in Strategic Communications and Digital Media, earning a Master's Degree from Rutgers University from 2015 to 2017. In 2016, they participated in an International Corporate Communication and Culture Study Abroad Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
