Caty Posey

Caty Posey's work experience includes positions at various companies in the fields of public relations, communication, and education.

From April 2022 to the present, they have been working as a Senior Account Executive at Crenshaw Communications.

Prior to this, Posey worked at Blast PR from November 2019 to April 2022, where they held multiple roles including PR Director, Events Manager, PR Specialist, PR Coordinator, and Assistant Program Manager. Caty also interned with the company as a Public Relations Intern from June 2012 to September 2012.

Posey's experience also includes a position at Volvo Trucks as a Communication Intern from January 2012 to May 2012.

Caty has also worked at Radford University as a Graduate Teaching Fellow from August 2011 to May 2012, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from August 2010 to August 2011. In these roles, they assisted professors with teaching public speaking and team work, created classroom activities, facilitated lectures, and critiqued speeches. Caty also acted as a connector between students and faculty members.

Additionally, Posey gained experience as a Town Clerk Intern at Penfield Town Hall from May 2011 to January 2012. In this role, they assisted with various tasks needed by the town clerk, scanned and categorized town documents, and edited and expanded computer databases.

Posey began their career as a Communication Intern at PathStone Corporation from May 2009 to August 2009.

Caty Posey earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations and Journalism from the University of Lynchburg, which they attended from 2006 to 2010. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Corporate and Professional Communication at Radford University from 2010 to 2012.
