Kathy Fosser

Kathy Fosser has worked in the field of human resources and accounting for over 35 years. Kathy began their career in 1985 at the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County as a Human Resources Analyst, Accountant, Accounts Receivable Coordinator, Senior Account Clerk, and Account Clerk. In 2007, they joined the Kane County, Illinois Health Department as a Program Coordinator. Kathy then moved to the Kane County Department of Employment and Education as a Staff Accountant in 2011. In 2013, they returned to Kane County, Illinois Health Department as an Interim Executive Director, Deputy Executive Director, and Assistant Director for Administration. In 2022, they joined Crescend Technologies, LLC as a Human Resources Manager.

Kathy Fosser has an extensive education history. Kathy obtained their Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the College of DuPage in 1989. Kathy then went on to obtain their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Aurora University in 1992. In 1995, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Human Resources Management and Services from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University. In addition to their degrees, Fosser also has several certifications. In 1998, they obtained their Facilitator, Skills for an Empowered Workforce certification from Development Dimensions International. Kathy then obtained their SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM in 2015, followed by their Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR®) Certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in 2014.
