Brandon Ringe has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Brandon started their career as a Student IT Tech/Programmer with the LA Department of Health and Hospitals in 2008. Brandon then worked as an IT Service Desk Intern at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana before joining the Louisiana Air National Guard as a Crew Chief in 2010. After serving in the military, Brandon worked at Turner Industries as a Sharepoint Developer, where they developed custom solutions using .Net, Angular, and React. Brandon then joined BCV as a Clojure Engineer and Data Operations Team Lead, where they contributed to the development and leadership of the team. In 2019, Brandon became a Self Employed Software Engineer, focusing on open source development. In 2020, they co-founded HonestDeed and held the role of Co-Founder and Co-VP of Engineering. At HonestDeed, they played a significant role in business and technical decisions, helping the company reduce technical debt. Additionally, they developed a fintech mobile app using React Native, TypeScript, and ClojureScript. Brandon also utilized an event-driven architecture with Kafka and Clojure, which contributed to cost reduction and efficient software development. In 2021, they served as a Software Engineering Advisor at Fundamentally. Currently, Brandon is a Senior Software Engineer at Crescent, starting in 2023.

Brandon Ringe obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Southeastern Louisiana University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their degree, they also acquired several certifications, including the Confluent Fundamentals Accreditation from Confluent in May 2021. Before that, they completed various training courses such as ASP.NET MVC 5 Essential Training, Git Essential Training, and Up and Running with ASP.NET from lynda.com in July and June 2015.
