Alec Arch has a diverse work experience in the field of process safety engineering. Alec started their career as an Apprentice/Technician at ICI Plc in 1986. Alec later worked as an I,C&E/Functional Safety Engineer at ConocoPhillips UK in 2012, where they focused on implementing functional safety solutions. Alec then joined Fabricom Offshore Services UK as a Principal Technical Safety Engineer, providing safety input to offshore oil and gas projects. Alec also worked at ABB as a Safety Engineer, providing consultancy and project engineering support. Following that, Alec joined px Group as a Lead Functional Safety/Instrument & Control Consultant, working on process safety projects for various clients. Alec also worked with SABIC on the implementation of a DCS and SIS system. Currently, Alec is working as a Senior Process Safety Engineer at Crescent Petroleum.
Alec Arch holds a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation & Control, which was obtained from Teesside University.
