Jharna Katara

Jharna Katara is currently working as a Biostatistician at the Biostatistics Consulting Center at IU. Prior to this role, Jharna has gained experience as a Swim Instructor at Swim4success, Graduate Assistant for Fitness and Wellness at Tulane University, and Research Student at Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Jharna has also interned at CrescentCare as a National HIV Behavioral Surveillance-Intern, where they conducted interviews and data modeling to estimate the prevalence of HIV and Hepatitis C among People who Inject Drugs. Their previous experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Tulane University School of Medicine and a General Dentist at Dr. Mansuri's Cosmetic Dental Clinic. Jharna holds a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology from Tulane University and a Bachelor's of Dental Surgery from MGM Institute of Health Sciences.
