Crestline Investors, Inc., founded in 1997 and based in Fort Worth, Texas, is an institutional alternative investment management firm. Crestline specializes in credit and opportunistic investments, including financing and restructuring solutions for mature private equity funds. In addition, the firm manages a multi-PM equity market-neutral hedge fund, and provides beta and hedging solutions for institutional clients. The company maintains affiliate offices in New York City, London, Toronto and Tokyo.

Job Summary:

The Client Service Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's investor relations efforts across the Credit platform. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with Crestline’s product specialists and other internal teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality service to investors. The successful candidate will communicate accurate and timely responses to clients, prospects, and third-party service providers, coordinate investor reporting deliverables, and interface directly with prospects as part of the new account onboarding process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for client service requests, building and maintaining strong relationships through regular communication, addressing inquiries, and providing timely updates. Proactively identify and address client concerns, working collaboratively with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Client Reporting: Assist in preparing and distributing client deliverables, statements, and other communications. Responsible for entering new deliverables into the system and working with internal and external resources to complete by the prescribed deadline.
  • New Account Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new clients, including collecting required documentation, reviewing / coordinating follow-ups, and sending welcome communications to facilitate a smooth transition. Open and review new accounts in the CRM system.
  • System Management: Working with Crestline’s fund administrators, maintain accurate and up-to-date systems, ensuring all investor information, contacts, and communications are properly documented.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to client interactions, documentation, and reporting. Assist with gathering investor information for periodic regulatory filings.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve client service processes, systems, and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in client service, relationship management, or a related role, preferably within financial services or private credit.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data / reports and proactively identify insights to support client needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience with CRM systems preferred.
