Davide Garufi

Davide Garufi serves as the Director of the Innovation Centre for Sustainable Construction at CRH, leading European initiatives to advance innovation and sustainability in the building materials industry. With extensive experience in managing low CO2 built environment programs and executing energy efficiency projects, Davide has developed innovation roadmaps and engaged in lobbying and startup scouting activities. In addition to the role at CRH, Davide is an advisory board member at Politecnico di Torino, the owner of Moscarda Consulting, and a board member focused on innovative startups at the Italian Chamber of Commerce for the Netherlands. Mentoring startups through Techstars and HighTechXL, Davide also has prior experience in energy policy programs aimed at boosting participation in the energy transition. Educational qualifications include a Post-master in Design Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology, complemented by studies in business management and construction engineering.
