Anne Hardy

Director, Innovation at Saint-Gobain

Anne Hardy holds a PhD in Materials Science from MIT. She also holds a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the University of Utah.

Anne joined Saint-Gobain in 1992 as a research engineer at the Saint-Gobain Research North America research and development center (Northboro, Massachusetts). She has held various positions within the R&D organization of Saint-Gobain, notably deputy director of research and development of the Group and director of the Northboro R&D center. She currently holds 16 patents on a range of materials and processes, including ceramics, polymers and building materials. In 2015, she received the Manufacturing Institute's STEP Award, which recognizes women in science, technology, engineering and production.

In January 2019, she was appointed R&D Director, High Performance Solutions. As of July 1, 2021, she was appointed Innovation Director.
