Thorn Thaler

Thorn Thaler is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at CRIF since January 2020. Previously, Thorn held the same title at Nestlé from 2014 to December 2019, where responsibilities included coordination and training of junior data scientists, development of predictive models, and leading initiatives for connected kitchen strategies and product improvement modeling. Thorn's earlier roles at Nestlé included data scientist and junior data scientist, focusing on model development, statistical analysis, and training. Additional experience encompasses positions as a Research Assistant at Helsinki University of Technology, a Software Engineer at Lech Stahlwerke, and a Software Engineer at Meinl Bank. Thorn holds a Master's degree in Technical Mathematics from the University of Technology Graz and was an exchange student in Theoretical Computer Science at Teknillinen Korkeakoulu Helsinki.
