Meghan Mokate

Meghan Mokate, CPA, MSCA, currently serves as the Finance & Strategy Officer and previously held the role of Director of Finance at the Crisis Center for South Suburbia since July 2021. Meghan's professional experience includes a position as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law from June 2021 to June 2022 and as a Research Assistant at the University of Illinois Chicago earlier in 2021, focusing on municipal revenue forecasting and data analysis. Prior to that, Meghan worked as a Financial Due Diligence Associate and Intern at PwC, where expertise in financial analysis and data visualization tools was developed. Meghan's early career also includes a Corporate Accounting & Auditing Internship at FTD Companies and a Teaching Assistant role in Economic Statistics II. Educationally, Meghan holds a Master's degree in Civic Analytics from the University of Illinois Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, complemented by an international study experience at the University of Galway.
