Stephen Young

Steve Young is an experienced Country Manager for the Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation, holding this position since November 2018, with a focus on peace brokering. Prior roles include serving as Caucasus Programme Manager for Conciliation Resources and Deputy Head of Mission for the OSCE Mission to Moldova. Young has extensive experience in conflict prevention and resolution, senior civilian protection, and various military and HR operations within international organizations such as the OSCE and the United Nations. Educational qualifications include a BTEC 4 in Surviving Hostile Regions and a Diploma in Russian from the University of Westminster, among other certifications in management and personnel management.
