George Schlinck

George Schlinck is an experienced professional currently serving as a Chemistry Teacher at Cristo Rey New York High School since August 2023. Prior to this role, George worked at ICL-IP America Inc. from April 2019 to August 2023, where responsibilities included serving as the Chemical Hygiene Officer, coordinating safety training for chemists, and managing equipment maintenance, calibration, and inspection. Additionally, during this tenure, George evaluated experimental and commercial flame retardant products as an Application Chemist. Earlier experience includes working as an R&D Chemist at EN-TECH Corp., where George improved concrete products, and various positions at Sterling National Bank and KeyBank focusing on customer service. George holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Manhattan University and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Secondary Science Education at the CCNY School of Education.
