Sam Roberton

Sam Roberton is the current Director of Engineering for APAC at Criteria Corp. Prior to this, Sam was a Co-Founder at Get Fluent, a company that helps students build fluency with their French by practising with flashcards tailored to the content their teacher is teaching them in class. Sam was with Get Fluent for 7 years before moving on to Technical Director at Alcami Interactive, where they lead the engineering team up to and through Alcami's acquisition by Criteria Corp. From there, Sam became the Engineering Manager of the Rokt Selector team, playing mostly with Clojure and SQL, after being first Senior then Lead Engineer on the Data & Integrations team. Before their time at Rokt, Sam was a Developer at Soprano Design for 1 year and 1 month and a Mobile Applications Engineer at m.Net Corporation for 2 years and 11 months.

Sam Roberton has a University of Adelaide Honours Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Systems Engineering.
