Andrej Chudý

Marketing Science Director at Critical Mass

Andrej Chudý has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Andrej began their career as a Music Editor at Radio TLIS in 2002 and worked in this role until 2010. In 2005, they also worked as a Librarian and Bibliographer at the Theatre Institute, where they were involved in various library functions and research tasks.

In 2008, Andrej joined Comenius University in Bratislava as a PhD researcher, focusing on their thesis "Sharing of cultural production in network communication." During their time there, they conducted extensive research, literature reviews, and academic writing, and also presented their work at conferences.

From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Freelance Social Media Researcher and Analyst at Interaction London. In 2011, Andrej took on a similar role at VML, where they contributed their expertise in social media research and analysis on a freelance basis.

In 2013, Andrej joined VMLY&R as a Data Insights Analyst. In this role, they primarily worked on research and strategy projects related to social media analytics, web analytics, and user experience. Andrej delivered various research outputs and reports for clients such as Bentley, SAP, Premier League, and Xbox, among others. Andrej also conducted A/B testing and contributed to conversion rate optimization efforts.

In 2019, Andrej moved to AKQA as an Associate Analytics Director. Andrej'smain focus at AKQA was an e-commerce web analytics project with an emphasis on Conversion Rate Optimization. Andrej worked with clients such as Homebase, Toyota, Gore-Tex, and IWC, among others.

In 2022, Andrej joined Critical Mass as a Marketing Science Director, where they are currently employed.

Andrej Chudý holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Library and Information Science from Comenius University in Bratislava, Faculty of Philosophy, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's (MA) degree in Library and Information Science from Univerzita Komenského v Bratislave, studying from 2003 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Andrej also holds several certifications. In October 2021, they obtained a NetBase Enterprise Certification from NetBase Quid. In April 2021, they completed the Data Engineering, Big Data, and Machine Learning on GCP Specialization from Coursera. Furthermore, in March 2021, they completed the Executive Data Science Specialization from The Johns Hopkins University.
