Charles Ryan

Charles Ryan has extensive experience in web development and frontend design. Charles currently holds the position of Senior Front End Developer at Critical Mass since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Frontend Developer at Critical Mass from September 2020 to September 2021. Before joining Critical Mass, Charles worked as a Front End Developer at BVA Commerce from May 2019 to September 2020. During their time at BVA Commerce, they successfully created and improved ecommerce sites for various clients, exceeding client expectations and collaborating effectively with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

Before their role at BVA Commerce, Charles worked as a Front End Web Developer at Boxy™ LLC from 2018 to 2019. In this role, they managed the technical aspects of Shopify ecommerce sites and closely collaborated with the design team to bring their ideas to life. Despite limited resources and a startup environment, Charles excelled at accomplishing goals and learning new tasks.

Prior to that, Charles worked as a self-employed Web Developer & Designer from November 2017 to May 2019. Charles developed websites and applications based on specific business needs, maximizing conversions through analytics and staying updated on modern best practices.

Earlier in their career, Charles worked as a Frontend Developer at DPS Telecom in 2017. Charles created and updated user interfaces for telecom network monitoring firmware, improved website performance, and enhanced the usability of in-house software tools by applying UI/UX principles. Additionally, Charles has experience working as a Server at Tgif Fridays in 2016 and as an Accountant at Agrian Inc. from 2015 to 2016.

Charles Ryan attended San Joaquin Memorial High School but the specific dates are unknown. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Accounting and Business/Management at California State University, Fresno. Charles studied at the university from 2010 to 2015. In terms of additional certifications, Charles obtained the Shopify App Development and Shopify Theme Development certifications from Shopify in December 2019. Charles also obtained the Google Analytics certification from Google in July 2017.
