Daniel Umaña

Daniel Umaña has a diverse work experience in the field of technical and creative engineering. Daniel is currently employed at Critical Mass as a Senior Technical Lead. Prior to this, they worked at Hangar as a Technical Lead for almost seven years. Daniel also gained experience at Prodigious Latin America as a Senior Creative Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Before that, they were employed at BOSZ Digital, where they initially worked as a Creative Engineer and later was promoted to Senior Creative Engineer, serving from 2010 to 2015. Daniel started their career at Avionyx S.A. as a Software Engineer for a brief period from 2008 to 2009.

Daniel Umaña has a strong educational background with a focus on Information Technology and Computer Science. Daniel obtained their Master's degree in Information Technology Administration, specializing in Information Technology and Project Management, from Universidad Nacional between 2015 and 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the same university from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their academic degrees, Daniel also earned a Private Pilot certification from ECDEA in the field of Aviation in 2006, as recognized by DGAC Costa Rica.
