Jared Andres

Jared Andres has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Jared is currently working at Critical Mass as a Learning and Development Manager since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Learning and Development Advisor at the same company from July 2022 to May 2023.

Before joining Critical Mass, Jared worked at the University of Calgary Continuing Education. Jared started as a Program Coordinator in February 2009 and worked in that role until May 2017. During this time, they supported Program Directors and Managers in delivering and administering tailored programs to corporate clients and open enrollment programs. Jared also managed the delivery of custom training programs and designed curriculum as required. In December 2019, they transitioned to the role of Corporate Training Program Advisor and then became the Program Advisor for Corporate Training & Workforce Development Programs from October 2021 to July 2022.

Additionally, Jared has experience in the entertainment industry. Jared owned Harmonious Productions, an audio-visual service provider, from December 2012 to May 2016. Jared specialized in event DJ services for various occasions such as social gatherings, retail promotions, corporate functions, and weddings. Jared also worked as a DJ at Discotecha from September 2013 to February 2016, providing full-service event DJ services for corporate and wedding events.

Jared Andres completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Classical and Ancient Studies at the University of Calgary from 2004 to 2008. In January 2022, they obtained a certification in Course Design Program from the Taylor Institute for Teaching and Learning, also at the University of Calgary.
