Marie-Eve Hamel

Marie-Eve Hamel, PhD, currently holds the position of Directrice-adjointe for Systèmes, Gestion de l'information et Renforcement des capacités at Croix-Rouge canadienne, where contributions span multiple roles since June 2017, including project coordination and procedure supervision. Prior experience includes serving as an Honorary Fellow and Research Assistant at The University of Edinburgh, focusing on participatory research regarding Syrian refugee youth, as well as co-founding LIVED, a charity dedicated to amplifying the voices of displaced youth. Academic credentials include a PhD in Sociology and an MSc in Nationalism Studies from The University of Edinburgh, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and History from McGill University.
