Vulnerability Researcher at Cromulence

Joshua Connolly has a long and varied work experience. In 2008, they began their career as a Satellite Communications Systems Operator for the 3rd Infantry Division. In 2011, they moved on to the 10th Special Forces Group (Airborne), where they served as a Satellite Communications Systems Operator and Team Leader for several deployments. In 2014, they joined the 1st Space Brigade as an Information Technology Specialist, attending the Space Basic Cadre Course and the Technical Space Operations Course. In 2016, they were an Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer Intern at NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, developing custom protocols, constructing tools, and testing spacecraft umbilicals. In 2020, they were a Software Engineer Intern at Cromulence LLC, authoring an open source debugger plugin for a Qemu fork. In 2021, they joined both Cromulence LLC and Fortress Information Security as a Software Engineer and Product Security Engineer, respectively.

Joshua Connolly obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Florida Institute of Technology between 2016 and 2021. In April 2021, they obtained the NCL Spring 2021 Team Game certification from Cyber Skyline. Joshua is currently in the process of obtaining certifications from CompTIA (Security+), EC-Council (Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)), Cisco (Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT)), and CompTIA (Network+).
