Lara Young

Lara Young serves as the Global Head of ESG at Cromwell Property Group since January 2023 and is currently a member of the ESG Editorial Advisory Board for BE News and a Board Member of the Society for the Environment. Lara participates in the ConstructZero Advisory Board for the Construction Leadership Council, contributing to initiatives addressing the climate emergency. As Chair of the Carbon Champion Review Panel for the Institution of Civil Engineers, Lara drives recognition for carbon reduction initiatives. Additional roles include an Associate position at Time for the Planet, serving on the edie 24 Advisory Board for Faversham House, and involvement with the PAS 2080 Technical Advisory Panel at BSI. Previous experience encompasses several climate and carbon management positions at Costain Group PLC and participation in the Mayor of London's Infrastructure Young Professionals Panel. Lara holds advanced degrees in Environmental Management and Biology from esteemed institutions including the University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, and La Rochelle International Business School.
