Akash Hegde

Akash Hegde has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Akash started their career as a Co Owner at World of Keralis in 2010 and held this position until 2017. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as a Quality Engineer Co-op at BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC, where they developed various tools and systems to improve assembly transparency and workflow using VBA, MySQL, OracleDB, and Python.

In 2019, Akash joined Textron GSE as a Mechanical Design Engineer, specializing in New Product Development. In this role, they designed electro-mechanical and control system solutions and introduced on-site additive manufacturing.

Akash then moved on to SoftWear Automation, Inc in 2020, where they worked as an Integration Engineer until 2022.

Currently, Akash works at Cross Company as an eMobility Controls Engineer, starting in 2022.

Akash Hegde completed their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. In 2016, they attended Georgia Southern University for an unspecified period. From 2017 to 2019, they pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
