Michael Skovira

As Chief Medical Officer and co-chair of the Clinical Advisory Council, Michael Skovira oversees all aspects of clinical quality for Cross Country Locums. He is responsible for delivering integrated, client-centric solutions that drive high-quality care and positive patient outcomes. With more than 15 years of healthcare experience serving in clinical, administrative, and academic roles, Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and strategic insight into the industry. Known for his thought leadership and keen industry insights, Michael has been featured as a panelist and presenter for numerous CME-approved platforms, including the AAPA Executive Leadership Conference and the ACHE/AAPA Leadership Learning Collaborative. Michael received his B.S. from Central Connecticut State University, earned his PA-C, summa cum laude, from Pace University - Lenox Hill Hospital Physician Assistant Program, and his M.B.A. in Strategic Business Management from Hofstra University.
