Marcel Farkhondeh

Marcel Farkhondeh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and procurement. Currently serving as Chief Competence Center Sustainability and Principal Consultant Procurement at cross-ING AG, Marcel previously held the position of Project Leader Sustainability Consulting at The Institute for Business Sustainability CH-IBS, where leadership of a consulting team and development of strategic options in positive impact finance were key responsibilities. With a strong background in global procurement, Marcel has also held executive roles at ALPLA Group and säntis packaging, focusing on sustainable sourcing strategies and optimization of procurement processes. Accomplishments include significant cost savings, development of global supplier networks for recycled materials, and successful integration of newly acquired companies. Marcel holds a Master's degree in International Management from the University of St.Gallen and a Diploma in Advanced Sustainability from The Institute for Business Sustainability CH-IBS.
