Shawnie Hamer

Shawnie Hamer is an accomplished marketing professional and content strategist currently serving as the Director of Brand & Content Marketing at Crossbeam since June 2024. With extensive experience, Shawnie is also a member of the EU Partnership Crew since September 2022 and the founder of collective.aporia, an international arts collective launched in January 2019. Previously, Shawnie held several key roles, including Head of Content at Reveal and Kiflo PRM, where responsibilities included content standards, eLearning curriculum development, team mentorship, and establishing engagement metrics. Prior to these positions, Shawnie worked as a freelance writer and editor for various clients and contributed to educational content development at Independence University and The University of Texas at Austin. Shawnie holds an MFA in Creative Writing and Poetics from Naropa University and a BA in Creative Writing and English from Southern New Hampshire University.
