Karen also represented BCP as a Board Observer on the Board of Kopo Kopo (an East African merchant payments and small & medium-sized enterprises financing fintech platform).
Karen Mutema's educational career consists of a launchpad program in entrepreneurship and business model innovation from the United States International University - Africa, a diploma in professional interior design from the National Design Academy, a master of science in financial mathematics from the University of Leeds, and a bachelor of science in accounting and finance from the United States International University - Africa. Karen also has a certification from the CFA Institute in CFA Level I.
