Sara Yaacoub

Sara Yaacoub is an Associate at Crossboundary. Sara previously worked as an Investment Associate at IM Fndng from May 2019 to December 2020, and as a Senior Credit Analyst - Corporate Banking at Al Mawarid Bank from May 2017 to May 2019. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Relationship Manager - Corporate and Institutional Banking at Standard Chartered Bank from May 2013 to April 2017.

Sara joined Standard Chartered Bank in August 2013 as part of a one year International Graduate Program. Sara had rotations in four different units (Shipping Finance, Global Corporates, Real Estate and Financial Markets) and received intensive training on financial analysis skills and handling client relationships in each of the respective rotations before formally joining Corporate and Institutional banking unit in August 2014.

At Standard Chartered Bank, Sara handled around 25 companies and financial institutions in the UAE in terms of their credit analysis, managing the clients' relationship and their financial needs, and the periodic risk monitoring of the whole portfolio. Sara closely shadowed the Relationship Manager from business origination to deal structuring and implementation in line with the internal and external credit policies and standards.

Sara Yaacoub holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from the American University of Beirut and is a CFA Level 3 candidate. Sara has also received certification from the CFA Institute in CFA Level 2.

They are on a team with Jad Mneymneh - Principal, Kelley Gasper - Associate Principal, and Junius Williams - Associate. Their manager is Pieter Joubert, Chief Investment Officer.
