Matthew A. Klein

Matthew Klein, CFA, is a seasoned professional in real estate finance and investment, currently serving as Director and Principal at CrossHarbor Capital Partners since April 2018. Previously, Klein held the position of Assistant Vice President at AEW Capital Management, where responsibilities included co-leading a national debt investment platform and sourcing equity investment opportunities, as well as managing a team for fundraising efforts. Klein's foundational experience includes roles at PGIM Real Estate Finance, where over $2.9 billion in commercial mortgage investments were originated. An MBA graduate from Kellogg School of Management, with a focus on Real Estate and Entrepreneurship, Klein also earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Administration from Cornell University. Recognition includes awards such as Student of the Year in Real Estate and various leadership roles during academic tenure.
