Eric J Cunningham, PhD, currently serves as a Senior UX Researcher at Crossover Health, where a significant research initiative led to the redesign of scheduling and messaging functions, resulting in enhanced user satisfaction and increased revenue. In addition, Eric is an adjunct lecturer in anthropology at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, responsible for course design and delivery in subjects such as Japanese Culture and Ecological Anthropology. Previously, Eric held the position of Lead UX Researcher for Hack for LA, focusing on developing a design system framework and improving research capabilities. As an Associate Professor at Earlham College, Eric conducted extensive international research on socio-cultural phenomena in Japan, contributing to numerous publications and enhancing the curriculum, which led to increased student enrollment and satisfaction. Eric holds a PhD and MA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, as well as a Bachelor's degree in the same field from Utah State University.
