Dolores Powell Flagg

Dolores Powell Flagg is a seasoned professional with a diverse background in spiritual care and community engagement. Currently serving as a Chaplain at Crossroads Hospice since September 2020, Dolores provides essential spiritual support to patients and families. Previously, as a Community Engagement Specialist at SCS Unified School District from June 2013 to November 2015, Dolores facilitated resources for schools and families to achieve strategic goals. In the role of Special Project Coordinator at Memphis City Schools from February 2008 to June 2013, Dolores advocated for homeless children and youth in compliance with the McKinney-Vento Homeless Education Act. Dolores also coordinated projects as a Volunteer Coordinator at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church from March 2006 to February 2008. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Tennessee at Martin and a Master of Divinity from Memphis Theological Seminary.
