Executive Vice President Of Community Relations at Crossroads of America Council, Boy Scouts of America

Leslie Hurst has a range of experience in the non-profit sector, primarily working with the Boy Scouts of America. Leslie started as a District Executive in 2001 and consistently achieved growth in membership and volunteer engagement. Leslie progressed to roles such as Senior District Executive and District Director, where they focused on increasing fundraising, improving program quality, and expanding community involvement. In 2013, they transitioned to the Crossroads of America Council, where they served as Director of Development and later as Director of Field Service, overseeing strategic operations and growth plans. Their most recent position is Vice President of Community Relations, where they develop relationships with key institutions and aligns resources to strengthen Scouting's reach. Prior to their work with the Boy Scouts, Leslie held the role of Recreation Specialist at Anderson Parks and Recreation Department.

Leslie Hurst began their education in 1994 at Pendleton Heights High School, from which they graduated in 1997. Following this, they attended Indiana Wesleyan University from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a dual major in Management.
