Corey Toomey is an experienced editor, proofreader, and book formatter at Heartmason Publishing since September 2021, specializing in improving storytelling and writing skills while delivering print and ebook files. Corey is the founder and voice-over artist at ACX.com since May 2024, where audiobook files are recorded and edited to meet specifications. As a senior copywriter at Crowd Content since September 2020, Corey creates marketing copy that adheres to deadlines and AP style guidelines. Previous experience includes serving as content coordinator at Best Version Media from July 2022 to February 2024, managing feature articles and local content, and as membership director at the Connecticut Authors and Publishers Association, overseeing membership communications. Corey holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Hartford and an Associate’s Degree from Manchester Community College.
