Ku Jin Shin

Ku Jin Shin has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Ku Jin began their career as a Web Developer at The Steele Group Financial and Workplace Services Inc. - Gateway iQ in 2013. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer for Mercatus Technologies Inc. in two separate roles, one focusing on PHP/Angular and the other on PHP/Backbone. In 2015, they returned to Mercatus Technologies Inc. as a Software Developer on the Integrations Team, working with PHP/Angular. In 2016, they worked as a Software Engineer for FiveStars on the Customer Touchscreen Team, using Python/Angular, and as a Research Assistant for the Advanced Robotics Lab at the University of Waterloo, using MATLAB/Python. In 2018, they took a role as a UX Developer at vi Global, working with JavaScript/C#. Finally, in 2019, they returned to Mercatus Technologies Inc., working as a Software Engineer on the Platform Team and a Software Engineer/Data Scientist on the Data Science Team, using Python. In 2021, they began working as a Software Developer for CrowdRiff, using TypeScript/Go.

Ku Jin Shin attended the University of Waterloo from 2012 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering. Ku Jin then continued their studies at the University of Waterloo from 2016 to 2018, completing an Accelerated Master's Program and earning a Master's Degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering.
