Girish G has over 25 years of work experience, starting with non-IT roles in Johnson & Johnson, Pennar Aluminium, and Tata SSL. Girish gained insights into different industries and markets while working in production, sales, and marketing roles. In 2001, Girish transitioned into IT sales, working for Wipro Infotech as a Team Lead and growing the South Region business. Girish then joined Oracle India as a Senior Account Manager, managing strategic accounts in the technology product division. In 2008, they joined Cisco, where they served as a Manager in business development, strategy, and operations. Girish later worked for McAfee as a Director of Sales for the Commercial Business in India and SAARC. Girish then returned to Cisco as the Head of Architecture Sales for Collaboration in the India Enterprise Business. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Channels & Alliances for Asia at CrowdStrike. Throughout their career, Girish has demonstrated skills in sales, marketing, operations, team management, and business development.
Girish completed a PG Diploma in Business Management with a focus on Marketing at T A Pai Management Institute, Manipal from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E) in Metallurgy from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, from 1991 to 1995. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Piano from London College of Music in 2015 and Cisco Certified Design Associate from Cisco in 2007.
