Fergus Drake OBE has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and sectors. Fergus currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Crown Agents since October 2017. Prior to this role, they were the Executive Director of Global Programmes at Save the Children - UK from October 2009 to September 2017. Fergus also worked at the Office of Tony Blair - AGI Rwanda as a Governance & Delivery Advisor from 2008 to 2009. Fergus has experience as a Senior Manager at Deloitte from October 2004 to 2009, and as a Policy Advisor at HM Treasury from 2006 to 2007. Fergus started their career as the Regional Director of the East Africa Disaster Response Team at Tearfund from 2000 to 2003.

Fergus Drake OBE began their education with a Bachelor's degree from the University of York, where they studied Economics & Politics from 1993 to 1996. Later, in 2003-2004, they pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Cranfield School of Management. In 2002, they also undertook a program in Crisis/Emergency/Disaster Management at Cranfield School of Management. Fergus continues to enhance their knowledge in the field of leadership and business, as evidenced by their participation in the Leadership for Senior Executives program at Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2021 and the Breakthrough Programme for Senior Executives in International Business at IMD, starting in 2022.
