Kuan Yan

Kuan Yan has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. They began their career in 2005 as a Database Programmer at Hotel-purchase.com. In 2008, Kuan Yan joined Leiden University as a Researcher PHD Student and later transitioned to become a Postdoctoral Researcher. In 2013, they joined OcellO as the Head of Bioinformatics Section and held various roles within the company, including CIO and Senior Director. Most recently, Kuan Yan has been working at Crown Bioscience as a Software Development Manager and currently holds the position of Senior Principal Scientist.

Kuan Yan holds a PhD in bio-imaging and image analysis from Leiden University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed an MSC in Bioinformatics at Leiden University from 2006 to 2008. Kuan also holds a BSC in Computer Science from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, which they obtained from 2002 to 2006. Additionally, Kuan Yan has a BSC in Civil Engineering from Shanghai University, which they completed in 2002. Kuan has also acquired various certifications, including Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) in 2014, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in 2013, Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) in 2012, ISO 27001 Foundation - Information Security Certification in 2010, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) in 2008, and Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows Server 2003 (MCSE) in 2006.
