Sander Basten

Sander Basten, PhD has a diverse range of work experience in the field of bioscience. Sander is currently working as a Principal Scientist at Crown Bioscience. Prior to this, they held positions as a Senior Scientist at OcellO, where they focused on 3D screening for drug testing, and at CrownBio, where they conducted research as a Senior Scientist. Sander also gained experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Simon Fraser University and as a PhD Student and Research Technician at UMC Utrecht. Further, they worked as a Visiting PhD Student at Genentech Inc. and as a Research Technician at Sanquin. Sander completed their B.Sc internship at the University of Pennsylvania.

Sander Basten, PhD earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry from HAN University of Applied Sciences in 2003. Sander then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell & Molecular Biology / Genetics at Utrecht University from 2007 to 2013.
